Anger and disappointment with God can happen very easily. The best example would be when we vehemently prayed for something and it doesn't happen. What's worst is that instead of this thing happening for you, it totally goes against you.For example, i went for a driving test recently.I prayed and asked the Lord for a nice tester, and good weather. He sent me a grumpy old man, and a thunderstorm. It also so happened that when i turned on the ignition, it started to pour! It doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened next.
So here was I, angry and blaming God.Blaming him for not helping me and giving me totally unfavourable conditions as well.Being sore at Him was just so easy.
Then as i went home, the verse "in all things give thanks" flashed into view. At that point of time, being angry wasn't making sense anymore. In fact i felt silly for throwing a temper tantrum at the One who loves me so much. God is a good god who will never withhold anything good from us.
The lesson that I would like you to take away would be this; we just have to trust God's time to give us good things.Sure, we can ask for them, but we can only have a right to ask for them in His time and will, not by our time and standards. If you feel disappointed why you didn't get something even when you prayed so hard for, you may want to bear this lesson in mind.
And never doubt God.
