Was there ever a time you sinned and felt so ashamed of meeting God or even talking to Him? Was there ever a time when you felt inadequate or undeserving of His love?
Well, that is because at that moment in time, you were under the spirit of condemnation. That is why you would feel so small and lousy. But the good news is, God NEVER condemns us. He still loves us even though we fall. We should never have to feel lousy ever again if we fall into temptation and sin. We have to look up and seek for Him to uplift us and break that spirit of condemnation in us.
i was in a situation where i felt condemned and not worthy to even look to God again.
Me: i am a hypocrite. Lord just kill me now, lest i bring further shame to your name.
God: let there be a renewal of your mind. God will not fail you young man, God will not fail you. King David said 'i was young, now i am old. But i have not seen the righteous beg.' Isaiah 1:19 says, ' if you are willing and obedient, then you would eat of the best of the land."
God: Declare my word everyday! This is my instruction to you. Do this and you will not fall so easily into sin.Be faithful to me and i will bless you.
After hearing that, i knew that i had to listen to Him. i've run away, twice. But now i am coming back and i want God's best. And He will give it to me if i am willing and obedient.Amen.
